Cinco de Mayo

I am going to repeat what I have said before, research is important in order to find out the truth about any subject or topic. While some say Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, research shows that this is not the case. It is the celebration of the victory of a battle with France known as the Battle of Puebla.

It was an important victory because it allowed other countries to see that Mexico would not see ideally by and be conquered. So, on May 5 those of Mexican and Latino descent will celebrate Cinco de Mayo and their victory over France.
