The History Channel

I received my newsletter today from the History Channel which included a PDF teacher's guide, programming details and more.

The teacher's guide is for teaching on the history of Thanksgiving and can used along with the program The Real Story of Thanksgiving airing tomorrow, Thursday November 24, 2011 7/8 pm central. While many of us have plans for this day consider recording it and using it in at a future time. No grade/age is mentioned however, the study guides are all geared towards middle and high school students.

Links included were the Thanksgiving site and Plimoth Plantation. Students can watch some videos on the History of Thanksgiving or the construction of the Mayflower.

While those are great resources the one item which popped out of the newsletter was for FREE, except for the $4.95 for shipping.
